Master in Business Administration (MBA)

Master in Business Administration program is the most sought after qualification as it aims at nurturing young graduates for the chaning landscape of business. Challenges in the business both in the domestic and global market have redefined business process requiring thereby qualified and trained business executives. Emerging business areas in with more thrust in Technology especially Information Technology, has made business more customer centric. Demand for more and more product varieties, with aesthetic appeal and more value addition has shifted the preference from low price to better pricing structures.

The thrust of MBA program has always been to provide comprehensive understanding of management concepts, thoughts, process, practices and real life case studies. MBA program adopts a dynamic system of providing education through integration of changing business environment needs and practical aspects of business practices and cross cultural issues. It enhances capability of forecasting, analysis and decision making capability.

IPSAR has an approved intake of 120 for its Full Time MBA program under affiliation to the Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and approval of AICTE, New Delhi. It is the only self-financing Institute, which has been conducting 2 years Management Program for the last 22 years with a student flow from Easter parts of the country.

Eligibility

  • Passed Bachelor's Degree examination of minimum three years duration from any University of Odisha or from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
  • Passed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering / Technology / Pharmacy examination of minimum four years' duration from a recognized University as defined by UGC.
  • The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
  • There is no age limit for admission to MBA course.
  • The students appearing in their final degree examination may also apply for the entrance test.

Admission Policy

Admission & Reservation policy is strictly controlled and implemented by Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) under Policy Planning Board of Govt. of Odisha as per guidelines decided by the Honorable Supreme Court of India.

Procedure of Selection

The selection of candidates will be made on the basis of Rank Card in OJEE / CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ATMA results, for which they have to appear in the examination conducted by OJEE / CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ATMA.
